WiFi Thermocouple Temperature Data Logging SensorWiFi capability and integrated display
Lascar Electronics has gone live with its new FilesThruTheAir™ Cloud service, taking Lascar’s WiFi sensors to a new level, unlocking them from the PC and allowing them to be managed and monitored over the internet from any location in the world. Communicate with a Lascar WiFi sensor on any smartphone, tablet or PC. Monitor conditions, change sensor settings and receive email alerts instantly.
- Wireless connectivity to PC via WiFi
- View and analyse multiple sensors using the PC application, including immediate graphing of historic data
- Temperature measurement range -270 to +1300°C (-454 to +2372°F) (probe dependent)
- Rechargeable internal lithium polymer battery
The EL-WiFi-TC sensor measures the temperature of the environment in which the probe is situated. The accuracy of the K type probe supplied is ±1.5˚C. Data is streamed wirelessly over any WiFi network and can be viewed on a PC using the free software package.
During configuration, the sensor will search for an existing wireless network whilst physically connected to the PC. It can then be placed anywhere within range of the network. If the sensor temporarily loses connectivity with the network, it will log readings until it is able to communicate again with the PC application or cloud service (max 30 days at 10 second sample interval). Logged data is retained if the battery goes flat. Although the EL-WiFi sensors have an impressive range this can be increased by using WiFi extenders.
Requires 802.11b compliant WiFi router/network.
The EL-WiFi-TC is suitable for a wide variety of applications, particularly where remote monitoring is important, these include:
- Food & drink
- Building & site monitoring
