What are dry block calibrators?
Dry block calibrators can also be known as dry well calibrators, as they don’t contain any liquid. They can be used to calibrate a huge variety of sensors, including RTDs and platinum resistance thermometers. If you need to test a sensor for accuracy or portability, then a dry block calibrator could be the ideal solution.

Basic
Included in our basic range of dry blocks are the Fast-cal, 4000 series and Oceanus-6. Each model in this range contains a control system with a digital display showing the set and measured value from the calibration volume.
If you require quick testing on a thermometer that is used in moderate temperature, then our basic range of dry block calibrators is the perfect solution. In our basic range the thermometer under test is compared to the dry block controller value.
Should you wish to see even high levels of accuracy then utilise a separate external temperature indicator with these devices.
Site
Similar to the Basic range our Site models include the Fast-cal, 4000 series and Oceanus-6. The Site range contains all the features of the basic version, with the addition of an independent indicator to use as the reference channel.
Any thermometer that is being tested in our Site range of dry blocks will be compared to a calibrated standard. We understand that accuracy is key in calibration, and comparing thermometers to a calibrated standard ensures that your dry block calibrators can perform at their optimum level.
Advanced
Isotech Advanced models contain our latest range of dry block calibrators, the 4000 series and have inputs for both the test thermometer and a calibrated standard. These devices are the standard in our industry and are perfect for users with a variety of calibration requirements.
What sets our Advanced dry blocks apart from the models in our other ranges is the additional features and flexibility. Our industry-leading Advanced range of dry blocks have three input channels, data logging features, ethernet and many more features!
Both our Site and Advanced models can be supplied with a UKAS calibration certificate issued by one of our Accredited Laboratories.
