As we approach the end of Labfacility's 55th year, it is fitting to pay tribute to our Founder, Jim Riddett, who recently passed away at the remarkable age of 98.
Jim was a passionate believer in investing in people, particularly young talent. He embodied patience, passion, determination, and an unwavering desire to succeed. Throughout Labfacility's journey, he navigated countless challenges with resilience, always greeting colleagues, customers, suppliers and friends with a warm smile and a cheerful welcome.
From humble beginnings in 1971, when he founded the company alongside his wife, Barbara, from the front room of their family home in Twickenham, Jim oversaw and took immense pride in Labfacility's continual growth and development over the decades.
Jim's Celebration of Life was a truly uplifting occasion, bringing together family, friends, and Labfacility colleagues to share memories, stories, and experiences from his long, fulfilling, and remarkable life.
Jim's vision, values, and dedication laid the foundations for the company we are today.
Thank you, Jim, for everything you achieved for the Labfacility family. You were a true inspiration to us all, and we will continue to honour your legacy by building on the strong foundations you created for generations to come.
